About Our Lab
Designing the Future of Human-Technology Interaction
Design for Experience in Yonsei (DEY) lab aims at designing more convenient, pleasant, meaningful, and valuable experience in interacting with technology. Our research and teaching unifies the areas of human-computer interaction and user experience. Depending on the research objective, we employ different approaches including empirical, theoretical, design-driven ways of generating and experimenting knowledge. We are interested in both the product and the process of user experience design and focused on designing, building, and evaluating computational artifacts based on a deep understanding of users. Ultimately, we believe that a well-thought technology can truly help people communicate with each other.
